How to make custom slash commands on Discord (no code)

Custom slash commands let your server have its own /rules, /links or /faq. Normally that means writing and hosting a bot. mimBo's lets you build them in a visual editor instead - no code.

Build a command

  1. Open the Command Builder and select your server.
  2. Name your command (for example rules) and write what it replies with - text or a rich embed.
  3. Add options if you want input, like a user or a piece of text.
  4. Save - the / command is live in your server straight away.

Good commands to start with

  • /rules - posts your server rules on demand.
  • /links - your socials, store or other servers in one place.
  • /faq - answers the question you get asked ten times a day.

No hosting, no code

Because the command runs on mimBo's infrastructure, there is nothing to host and nothing to keep online. You build it in the browser and it just works.

Open the Command Builder and create your first command.
