If the filter is quiet when you expect a catch, it is almost always one of these.

| You need Manage Server / Manage Messages permission | That is about the person running the command. Grant the permission to your staff role. |
| The filter is not acting on a message | Check it is enabled, that the bot can see the channel, and that the author is not staff. Members with Manage Messages, Kick or Ban are exempt by design, as are immune roles and anyone who used /filter-optout. |
| Catches are not being logged | Set a log channel (in setup or with the moderation /log), and give the bot access to it. |
| A big server is only catching slurs and scam links | Servers over 1,500 members currently run the fast, no-AI list filter for speed. Smaller servers get the full AI filter automatically. |
