| A custom emoji will not react | The bot can only use custom emojis from servers it is in. Use a standard emoji or one from a server the bot shares with you. |
| Reactions fire in the wrong place | Review your rules. A keyword rule applies anywhere the word appears, while a channel rule applies to every message in that channel. |
