Use /test welcome to reproduce any problem instantly. Here is what the common ones mean.

| No welcome or goodbye message appears | Check the channel is set and the feature is enabled, and that the bot has View Channel, Send Messages and Embed Links there. Run /test welcome to confirm. |
| The message sends but the image does not | The bot needs Attach Files in that channel, and your canvas background must be a valid image URL. |
| Autorole is not applied to new members | The bot needs Manage Roles and its role above the role being assigned. |
| Welcome DMs are not arriving | Members with DMs closed cannot be messaged. That is a Discord privacy setting, not a bug. |
