How to back up and restore a Discord server
mimBo's automatically keeps snapshots of your server structure so a nuked server is minutes, not days, from recovery.
How backups work
The bot snapshots your channels, roles and permissions automatically and keeps the 3 most recent snapshots. You can see the retention setting on the Joins and leaves tab (the cap is 3).
Backups are capped at the 3 most recent snapshots.
Restore
| Command | What it does |

| /restore latest | Rebuild channels, roles and permissions from the newest snapshot. |
| /restore specific index | Pick the latest, second latest or third latest snapshot to restore from. |
Tip. Backups store your server structure, not message history. Discord does not allow bots to restore deleted messages. During a detected raid the bot restores automatically and posts "Server Restored" in your log.
